  • McGinnis Sisters Fresh All Natural Turkey of your choice (we recommend about 1 lb to 1 ½ lbs of turkey per adult)
  • Lawry's seasoned salt
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • salt and pepper

Preheat over to 325F.  Remove neck from the breast cavity and the giblets from the neck cavity. Rinse the inside and outside of turkey with water and pat dry. Season inside and outside of bird with salt & pepper. Do not stuff your turkey until your are ready to place it in the oven. Stuff the turkey loosely.

Add 1/2 cup of water and 1/2 cup of white wine to the bottom or roasting pan. Lightly baste the outside of turkey with 1/2 cup of melted butter, sprinkle with Lawry's seasoned salt. Place turkey, breast side up, on a flat rack in a shallow roasting pan. To keep turkey moist, tightly cover with aluminum foil and baste every hour. Place turkey in the oven and  roast for about 20 minutes per pound or follow the Turkey Roasting Guide on our web site. To brown the turkey, remove foil 1 hour before your turkey finished roasting.

Release of the pop up timer signifies the turkey is done, however the turkey juices should run clear and the thigh meat should reach 165 on an instant read thermometer. Loosely cover the turkey with alumni foil and allow to stand for 15 to 30 minutes before carving to allow the juices to be absorbed evenly.
