Old Country Quiche

  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 cup Wisconsin Swiss Cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • pinch nutmeg
  • 1 baked pastry shell, 9 inch
Sauté onion in butter. Toss onion, bacon and cheese with flour. Beat eggs; add milk and seasoning. Stir in bacon and cheese mixture. Pour into baked pastry shell. Bake at 400F for 25 to 30 minutes or until center is set. Serves 6.
